As I sit in my office chair unable to sleep because of my shoulder and neck pain, instead of the usual frustration, I find myself feeling thankful for my blessings.

For a wonderful and supportive husband who helps me without expecting anything in return, for my two sweet sons who give me joy, and for great doctors who help me with my two herniated disks. I’m thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows my needs and sends His angels to me in the form of such great people.

I’m also thankful for all of you for your friendship and support through this difficult year of medical problems for every member of my family. There’s a good chance that I’ll be having surgery on my cervical spine before Christmas and don’t know how long it will take to recover enough to write, but know that I will be thinking of you.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
