My talented friend, D.J. Lutz gave me this lovely Liebster award last week and I’m finally able to post it here.
Liebster, which I understand to mean “dearest” in German, is a blog award that bloggers give to others in hopes of bringing to light little known blogs that are decent to read, or at least fun. And like all other blog awards, there are stringent qualifications and requirements that must be at least considered:
The award is for blogs with less than 200 followers. I’m good on that one.
The award is to bring to light new or unknown writers. This year has been so busy with medical issues with my family that my blog’s been a little neglected. With about 17 followers so far, I am grateful to D.J. for thinking of me!
This award is meant to forge new connections in the blog-o-sphere, which something I love to do when I’m not writing in my novel.
So, here is how this works:
1. Thank the blogger who gave me the award.
2. Give the award to 5 of your favorite bloggers, and let them know by posting a comment on their blog.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love of the most supportive group on the Internet – other writers.
5. Have fun and spread the karma.
So who are today’s winners of the Liebster Award?
My good friend and poet, Anthony F. Rando. He is a talented poet and his second poetry book, ‘After the Storm’ is now available for sale. Anthony also just won his first NaNo mafia novel. He is also my co-author for my Enchanted Locket novel.
Kelly Bryson is a wonderful friend and a very talented writer and blogger. I highly recommend reading her blog, Book Readress for great writing tips and book reviews. I look forward to reading her published novels someday.
Jeanie writes thought provoking posts on her blog, The Writernubbin. I find her posts to be very inspiring, and you will too.
Stacy S. Jensen is one of the nicest writers and bloggers I know. I thought she had well over 200 followers until a few minutes ago when I read today’s post and glanced at her follower box. She is certainly worth getting to know.
I found a new blog, The Zoeyoey Blog, which I recommend you check out. Zoe participated in NaNoWriMo last month and her posts showed great karma.
